At In a Child’s Path, we believe in learning through natural discovery, which happens through play and interaction with the environment.
When your child is with us, they will learn in a variety of environments, including:
- Group time
- Art area
- Block area
- Manipulative area
- Playdough table
- Dramatic play
- Meal table
- Outdoors
- Story time
Through each of these environments, we help your child to develop a number of skills, including self-help and independence, group participation and social interaction, problem solving, physical coordination, language and memory skills, imagination, and an understanding of the world from different perspectives. And, that’s just to name a few.
Learning through play is integrated; that is, many concepts and skills are learned in many ways. The child–physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and creative–is developed.
